Deeper Roots Consulting is a Southern California-based housing consulting firm dedicated to helping municipalities and public agencies design, administer, and strengthen housing programs that keep households stable and communities resilient.
Our team combines direct public sector experience administering federally and state-funded housing programs — including HUD CDBG programs, emergency rental assistance, first-time homebuyer programs, housing rehabilitation loans, and affordable housing preservation initiatives — with applied research and data expertise, including regional equity profiling, GIS mapping, and analysis of public datasets such as the U.S. Census. This combination lets us pair strong program administration with the data and mapping work that funders and elected bodies increasingly expect to see in proposals and reporting.
